Story from the field

Mamta Devi
Stitching, Inderpuri
When the Sewa International team came to my door, I was surprised but also hopeful. They didn't just ask questions; they really listened to me. I shared my dream of opening a beauty parlour, and they didn't just nod along; they encouraged me. It felt like they truly cared about what I had to say. As they left, I felt a newfound sense of belief in myself and my dream.

The Micro Entrepreneurship Refreshment Training by Sewa International was a game-changer for me. As a mother and wife, I've always dreamed of starting my own business but lacked the confidence. Through the training, led by dedicated trainers like Dr. Akshita and Meenakshi Narang, I found the support and encouragement I needed. Learning about strategic planning and customer engagement filled me with a new sense of purpose. But more than that, it was the sense of community among participants that truly touched me. Now, armed with newfound skills and confidence, I'm ready to turn my dreams into reality and build a better future for my family. Thank you, Sewa International.

Rakhi Bhagat
Beauty Parlour, Naraina Vihar
Before Sewa International came into my life, I was just a woman with dreams hidden deep inside. Then, they reached out to me—not just with hope, but with the confidence to follow those dreams. My name is Monica. I have a hardworking husband who supports our family and a child whose laughter brings me joy. For a long time, I wanted to start a stitching business, but I kept my dream buried under self-doubt and societal expectations. Sewa International believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. With their support, I gained the courage to speak up and work towards my goals. Today, I am not just a woman with dreams—I am a woman with a purpose. Sewa International didn't just help me start a business; they helped me find my identity, my voice, and a brighter future.
